Presentation

Pierre Leroy has a remarkable advantage over the other IMOCA skippers: he is a meteorologist and a navigator.

It was during the 2019 Mini Transat that Benjamin Ferré and Pierre met. Since then, Pierre has gone on to win the 2021 Mini Transat and has taken all the podiums on the circuit in 2022, notably winning the Sables - Les Acores - Les Sables.

Alongside his Mini project, he coaches Benjamin in his learning of the weather. He joins the Monnoyeur-Duo For a Job project in January 2023, and becomes co-skipper for the whole season and Boat Captain of the IMOCA until the Vendée Globe.
